Look what I found today: there’s a service, called MyUS, where you can pay a very small price (basic service costs $10, and has no fee) and get a real United States address, which will be linked to your real address.
So, once you do your shopping on US addresses, it will re-route your package to where you really are. It sounds pretty smart as service, and seems that shipping fees are smaller than the ones US online shops usually ask.
I’m gonna check it, and post my impressions as soon as possible. Anyhoo, did someone ever try it?

Wow… seems like yesterday when I opened this blog, and then, ta-da!, it’s almost February, 2010! Where have I been during all this time?
Well… I was kinda busy maxing all my cards and doing some research here and there. I subscribed on many fabulous fashion sites, like ASOS and NewLook, and I started my bellydancing classes. Wow!, what a surprise when I went for sport shopping! I was prepared to buy yet another tee + unisex or male pants, but when I entered the shop – it happens to be Intersport-Eybl, a huge sport shop here in Graz – and found an amazing yoga pants for 10 euro I thought “well, this place just became my new playground!!”.
At the end I bought two tees and three pants – the last two ones costing 10 euro – and one from Nike, as both tees. One of them is a plain fuchsia t-shirt, which fits pretty well with some sport pants or skinny jeans and the other one is a dry-fit turquese top, with incorporated bra. My pants, instead, are plain black flared ones, with a small swoosh at the left hip. Pretty nice, comfortable and, the best of the best: size 20-22!
Something I realized, while I was shopping at that place, is some major companies (as Reebok and Nike itself) are actually doing clothes for plus-size customers. Ok, since I’m UK 18/20 I’m at the small edge of plus-size chart, but I remember when some years ago it was a real tragedy to find something designed for women and cool for me: I always had to shop at the male side of sport shops, when I wasn’t quitting and looking for my stuff on open markets.
In fact it’s nice to know that they are paying attention on us, and realizing that *maybe* the fact we’re chubby or fat doesn’t necessarily means we’re not wanting to do some workout. Maybe it can become a sort of virtuous circle: I find something cool to wear during my exercises, so I feel comfortable and confident and want to exercise more, hence I tend to lose weight and find something even cooler.
It’s weird, but it can be true. =)

… why bangles are always so tight?!
Ok, I know, one can answer me “because you’re rather plus size, since you dress 18 as shirts and 20 as pants (sometimes I happen to dress 22, as when I use pencil skirts)”. Coolio. But I am 1,75m and 95kg, so I’m also rather tall. Plus, my bones happen to be a bit large, and my hand is not what people can call small, as my wrists.
Still, I didn’t find a bangle (I’m referring to those round bracelets, usually an unique piece made of plastic or metal) that my hand could enter into. I once found one… but it stopped on my thumb. X-D
Since Evans says its bangles are wider, I decided to buy one. I also bought one from Dorothy Perkins, now I’m gonna check which one I’ll be able to use.

Man, HOW SAD!!
I’m a Lush frequent customer, and I met BNever the first time I’ve been at Vienna. Wow, I can’t tell you how much I loved that place! Imagine a kitsch Lush with some disco soul: the perfume in the air, the music (sometimes it was a bit loud, but who cares?, it was terribly fun there!!), all those bottles placed as an old perfume shop… and their packages? OMG!! Their make-ups, with tiny and shiny packages, as their brushes.
Then I had an epiphany: Keep it Fluffy. Wow! I’m an Angel and Alien lover (actually Angel is a sort of second skin to me), but Keep it Fluffy is something that no words can explain.
Actually, scratch that.
Imagine a room with sparkly walls (paint it with the color you prefer, it’s ok) and a big big bed with plenty of soft pillows and a very warm blanket. Outside it’s cold, and into this room it’s pretty warm. Then, put your coziest pajamas and lay down on it (I have one from Snoopy that, every time I dress it, I go to town with it!). If you want, picture yourself drinking your favourite hot drink while you there (just be careful to not drop it on your blankets!!). Last, but not the least, your loving one is with you, cuddling you.
Yup. The scent of Keep it Fluffy, to me, is like this scene. Warm, cozy and peaceful.
It’s really a pity they are closing.

I found this item through a Brazilian blog, called Mulherão. Actually this is one item from Madame Sher’s atelier: she’s works with haute couture since 1998. On her site there are several versions, overbusted, underbusted, waist cinchers and so on, all of them handmade. Beautiful beautiful beautiful!
Depending on the item it can cost around R$1000,00 (around €390,00). I cannot say about shippings, since I didn’t order any of her corsets, yet. Anyhoo, it’s possible to directly contact her to solve any doubts one can have.
What can I say? OMG, I want it!!!
